About Dr. B

I am a Nursing Professor with 34 years of teaching experience, holding MSN and DNP degrees. My career spans bedside care as an RN and expert nursing educator, with a strong focus on student success and NCLEX preparation. I serve as a mentor to aspiring nurses and as an NCLEX reviewer, helping students translate knowledge into confident, board-ready performance.

I am deeply committed to academic excellence and practical clinical relevance. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of guiding hundreds of students from classroom learning to authentic clinical practice, and I have spoken at pinning ceremonies—honored to be recognized by the students who selected me for that role. My work also includes featured appearances in school spotlight events, where I combine teaching with performance to inspire and engage learners.

Beyond the classroom, I enjoy singing and dancing—activities that reflect my belief in holistic education: nurturing both intellect and spirit. I am passionate about building supportive learning communities, advancing nursing education, and empowering the next generation of nurses to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care.
